SANDY CASTENEDA (SC): How long have you been tattooing?

ANGELO PARENTE (AP): 12 and a half years

SC: Where are you currently tattooing ?

AP: Black casket tattoo Dickson City, PA

SC: How would you describe your tattoo style?

AP: This is something I have tried to figure out, as it has been asked by a lot of my clients, but I don't have an exact word for it. When I first started tattooing I mostly did traditional tattoos so I feel like I still incorporate those techniques but more illustrative.

SC: What keeps you inspired outside of tattooing?

AP: With how much time tattooing takes from the drawing to the tattoo, getting to spend time with my wife and kids and take care of them.

SC: What tattoo machine do you use? Why do you love and recommend it?

AP: I use a dan cabin machine more my outline, as I am still like having the coil machine feel when outlining. For everything else, shading, dots, packing, and some different size lines I use different stroke critical torque machines.

SC: How long have you been using TATSoul products?

AP: I don’t  know the exact length but it’s been quite a while. I remember the envy traditional 7 was a go-to needle before the ENSO needles came out.

SC: What are your go-to or favorite TATSoul products right now?

AP: For just about every tattoo I used the wrath recoil tubes. I also use a lot of different cartridges.

SC: What do you like most about using TATSoul equipment in your day-to-day work?

AP: I like how everything feels and works. The tubes are very heavy duty. The cartridges feel very good running in my machine when using them.

SC: What is your favorite Jet Black products? Which ones are your favorites?

AP: I use a lot. For every tattoo the lap pads, bed sheets, machine bag, ink caps. They are great. I love how well made the sheets and lap pads are. They never rip, not matter how long of a session.

SC: What stands out to you about Jet Black compared to other brands you’ve used?

AP: I remember there was a time where it was hard to find all of these products in black, so that on top of how well they are made is perfect.

SC: Why would you recommend our products to other artists?

AP: I feel the build and quality of everything always feels solid. I’m able to get through long sessions with nothing breaking or ripping.

SC: How do these products impact your workflow or overall tattooing experience?

AP: With no issues to the products, it makes the tattoo sessions flow nicely so you just have to worry about your tattoo appointment.

SC: What keeps you inspired as an artist?

AP: I do alot of horror/halloween/dark inspired tattoos. So anything related to do definitely keeps me excited to draw and design new tattoos.
